"Lordsburg quadrangle is situated in the part of the Basin and Range 
physiographic province which Fenneman (1931, p.380) calls the Mexican highland.
The quadrangle may be divided into three main topographic units:  Lower Animas 
Valley on the west, Lordsburg Valley on the east, and the Pyramid Mountains
which are between the two valleys."

There is a limited discussion of Economic Geology including the Banner Mining
Company and Atwood, the Leitendorf district, Perlite deposits, Fluorspar
deposits, and Agate "thunder eggs".

In good condition.  Minor dirt on cover.    Plates like new.
